Men In Need Together

  • MINT - Men In Need Together was born out of heart break. After losing a close friend Jack Bentley, Josh met with a friend and together they realised something needed to change.

Men struggle to ask for help for a multitude of reasons but with the main ones being that it is inticnt for boys and men to be strong, be brave and be confident and by asking for help we believe we are none of these things. We are also brought up to think that we need to be all of these things, to “man up” and not to cry but this is what lead to the male suicide rate being as high as it is.

So, in an effort to combat this, we decided to open free support groups in communities where it is needed most. There are no obstacles or hoops to jump through. You don't need to sign up or let us know you wish to attend, you simply turn up and start accepting support.

Oh and theres free biscuits 😉

Our MINT support groups are for all men to attend and talk about their struggles in a peer-to-peer setting. We want every man to have a place to go when he needs it. We currently have groups in Morley (LS27), Belle Isle/Middleton (LS10) and Otley (LS21), with the aim to create a group in every city in the UK.
